What this service is
Chronic Pain Relief provides exercise therapy, corrective exercise and health coaching in Scarborough, Ontario. Nadeem Tejani is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist and Health Coach.
This is not a medical, physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy or acupuncture service. We do not diagnose medical conditions, we do not prescribe medication, and we do not provide hands-on treatment, adjustments or needling.
Nothing on this website — including the articles, the free guides, and the condition pages — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for care from your own physician or a regulated health professional. It is general education.
Before you start exercising
Check with your doctor before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, or have had recent surgery.
See a physician first if you have any of the following: numbness or pins and needles, weakness in a limb, loss of balance, loss of bladder or bowel control, fever alongside your pain, unexplained weight loss, pain that wakes you every night, or pain that started after a serious injury, fall or accident. Those signs need medical assessment before any exercise plan.
Taking part in exercise carries some inherent risk. You are responsible for working within your own limits and for stopping and seeking advice if something hurts in a way that concerns you.
Results
Testimonials and results shown on this site are individual experiences shared by real clients. They are not a promise or a guarantee of what will happen for you. Outcomes depend on your body, your history, other conditions you may have, and how consistently the plan is followed. We do not guarantee any particular result or timeframe.
What personal information we collect
- Your email address — if you enter it to receive one of the free guides or to join the email list.
- Anything you send us — your name, phone number and message if you email, call or text us.
- Booking details — if you book an assessment, that happens on Calendly, and Calendly collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.
- Basic website analytics — aggregated, non-identifying information about which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. We do not use this to identify individuals.
We do not ask for and do not want health information, insurance numbers, or payment details through this website.
What we do with it
- Send you the guide or information you asked for.
- Reply to your question.
- Send occasional emails about pain, movement and what we are doing — only if you opted in.
- Understand which pages on this site are useful, so we can improve them.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Services that handle data on our behalf
This website relies on a small number of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- FormSubmit — delivers the guide and contact forms to our inbox.
- Calendly — handles assessment bookings.
- Google Analytics — counts visits and shows which pages get read.
- Google Maps — the embedded map showing our location.
- YouTube — the embedded videos. YouTube may set cookies once you press play.
Email and unsubscribing
We only email people who asked to hear from us. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we will act on it. You can also simply reply and ask to be removed, or contact us using the details below. This is in keeping with Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).
Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies and does not run ads. It does use Google Analytics, which sets a cookie so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one and count visits properly. That data is aggregated — it tells us that a page was read, not who read it.
Your browser may also store a small local flag to remember that you have already unlocked a free guide, so you do not have to enter your email twice. Embedded YouTube videos and the Google Map may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
The first time you visit, a notice at the bottom of the screen lets you accept or decline. Declining switches Google Analytics off for you, on that visit and every one after it, and clears the cookies it had already set. The site works exactly the same either way.
You can also block all of it with your browser's cookie settings, or with Google's opt-out add-on.
How long we keep it
We keep email addresses for as long as you want to hear from us, and enquiry messages for as long as they are useful for looking after you as a client. Ask us to delete your information and we will.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
